Hello nesredep egrob
I had a similar problem I fixed by corrected Upperfilters and Lowerfilters
values in the registry.
First I backed up (exported) the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11C
E-BFC1-08002BE10318} then I deleted the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters
subkeys (just the 2 subkeys).
I then downloaded
http://patches.sonic.com/PX/pxengine1_08_34a.exe, ran it,
rebooted my machine and my DVD drive was finally recognized.
Make sure you backup the key in case you need to restore it.
I hope this helps.
