WS2003 domain, Win XP clients running Microsoft VPN Client (using a CMAK
connection, ISA/RRAS on the server side, L2TP/IPSec).

We have an AD Site for the VPN clients' subnet that lets us apply
VPN-specific Group Policy.

What we'd LIKE to be able to do is send the machines out to the field
already switched over to the VPN site and with the site policy already
downloaded. Some of the GP changes make it more convenient for the end user
that way.

What we're doing now is making a VPN connection, waiting for the computer to
discover it's on the VPN subnet, and then download and apply the VPN Group
Policies. I wrote a WMI script to post a message box with the site so I know
when it's done. But that can take anywhere from seconds to many, many
minutes (An hour? Don't know, but a long time!)

Is there a way to force the computer to recalculate the site it's on from
the command line? A WMI script? Or force it to a specific site?
