I have a DVD Combo with CD writer (D drive in my PC) and I have also a
Dual Layer DVD writer (E drive). Both are SONY make. Kept a DVD in D
drive and copied it to E Drive using Nero, Jolly Well.

E drive is working properly as per the properties. When I make a DVD
using Nero Express 6 (this came with the DVD burner), the DVD plays well
in Drive D and when I hit Explore Drive/Device D, it displays all the
contents in the DVD. But when the same DVD is kept in Drive E, hitting
Explore shows nothing in it. Clicking on E drive in windows Explorer
says E:\ is not accessible--Incorrect function.

Where is the problem any guidance on this please?

Windows allows only one burner to be active at a time, when switching back
and forth you need to enable the cdburner properties on each drive.
Yeah, I've heard all the (that's only for cd's not for DVD's) just try it
and see if it works.

Thank you very much for the suggestion. I do not know how this time it
does not give E:\ is not accessible. Nevertheless I have noted what you
have said and try that when next time I get a similar situation.
Thanks again.
