floppy drive not working

My floppy drive is giving me an error when I put a disk in it says
"floppy disk controller reported error not reconizing floppy disk driver"
It seems to be a driver problem I uninstalled and rebooted both driver and
controller.
Is there any place I can download the standard floppy drivers? Mine might be
corrupt

Once I had a similar problem on a Win98 box, and it was the cable,
I pulled it out and put it back in. That did the trick.

Where you could get a floppy driver, I guess you'd have to look at
the mother-board's producers site. Unless your OS cam pre-installed.

Sorry I wouldn't know where you can get the driver...

Perhaps it is time to replace the floppy drive. Floppy drives appears
to be faulty and so a new one should be installed. It cost about $6 to
get a new one.

I replaced the drive last night, it's working but not right.
still something wrong.
