Hi,
I have a Dell E520 with a usb mouse and keyboard. It all worked fine. Now
Keyboard works, mouse doesn't. Tried to boot into safe mode still no mouse,
but keyboard works. Switched mouse and still doesn't work. Switched usb
ports, mouse still doesn't work, but keyboard works. Dell doesn't know what
to do and says to return it. Before I do that I wanted to ask the "real"
experts. You guys are great and have helped me tons in the past. Thanks for
all the help and let me know what you think. In summary I tried a different
mouse, different usb ports. Keyboard works fine on all ports.

I used a known working mouse from a second pc on the pc that has the issue
and it didn't work. I tried the mouse from the non working pc on a working
working pc and the mouse worked .
