You might have a hardware failure that is causing the reboots. The
first thing to check is that the CPU and video card are not getting too
hot, maybe a fan is clogged or quit working.
Next use a program like Speedfan to check the voltages to see if they
change while running a game. You might have a power supply that doesn't
have enough capacity for the computer or that is starting to fail.
Finally inspect the motherboard to see if any of the capacitors are
bulging or leaking. A failing capacitor can cause random reboots even
if everything else appears to be fine.

If the fan is making a load sound that it did not make before, the fan
is probably failing or clogged. If you can't clean it and have it cool
properly you will probably have to replace.
