A search for drivers starts with a couple things.
1) Is the OS currently installed, the same as the OS that the computer
shipped with ? I.e. If it shipped with WinXP on it, then the
WinXP drivers might be on the Toshiba site. If you're trying
to install Vista, then you might have to look elsewhere for
help. A laptop company won't necessarily keep adding drivers
for newer operating systems. And some operating systems may
have drivers built in for a few of the hardware items.
2) For help with individual pieces of hardware, you need to
list or inventory them. For example, if you posted a
question such as "Where can I find a Vista driver for 3C905
Ethernet interface", people are going to be more willing
to help you, than if you ask "gimme drivers for some old
computer no one has heard of". Currently, I cannot even find
a reference page, that lists the hardware in that computer,
so I can't even begin to help. And the Toshiba list of laptops,
doesn't include that model (meaning it may be so old, they
got rid of the download page). If you can find a page on
the Toshiba site for that laptop, that would be a start.
Just because there is no web page at Toshiba, doesn't mean we
cannot find drivers. But it does mean, that somehow, you'll have
to tell us what hardware is inside the computer, so we can figure
out what drivers are needed. I rely on available information on
the web, to figure out what drivers might work. I can find references
to your model number, but there isn't enough detail - I don't
even know what chipset is used.
To inventory hardware, there are programs like Everest or
Sisoftware Sandra Lite (free).
