Thanks for that tip I will try ccleaner - I assume I should backup the
reg first?
Another weird thing I noticed was, on one of the uninstalls, when the
add remove failed I deleted the directory containing the executeable.
When I tried to reinsall from the CD, it said it succeeded, but when I
clicked on the icon the executeable was missing.
It had put the directory back with some of the dll's but not the
exe??????
