I have a HD enclosure that im using to access my old laptops HD. Every time i
try accessing the docs on the exteranl HD it says im denied acess. I had a
password on my old latop, i know it but i have not idea how to enter it so
the system will allow me into the files

It's not a password issue - it's a user account issue. You just need to take
ownership of the folders/files on the old hard drive.
