i have vista bussiness edition on my laptop with SATA hard disk now i
want to install windows xp service pack 2.when i use xp service pack 2
cd to boot it does not shows the partion of the hard disk and after
pressing enter it shows RAM related error plz help me out???

The installer will prompt you to press F6 to install additional drivers

at that point you insert the floppy with your SATA drivers

and the installation will continue

DO you mean you have Vista installed on your pc and are using it AND that
you are trying to install Service pack 2 for XP?
IF so then WHY?
SP2 is for Windows XP ONLY.
OR do you mean you are trying to UPGRADE Vista to Windows XP SP2 version?
