Randomly, and I have no idea what triggers it, every window that is open on
my computer shows up as a miniature window that allows me to select which
window I want to bring up. It's not thumbnails, like the ones you get when
you ALT+TAB to scroll through the open programs. Each one literally takes up
about 25% of the screen. But it does it when I'm typing in word, or surfing
the web, or anything else that I'm running. I don't know if it's in the
intellimouse settings or somewhere in the way the views are set, but I can't
seem to find a solution. Please help.

You can use the Instant Viewer feature to see thumbnail images of al
open items on the desktop. Instant Viewer displays the thumbnails in
grid. To work on a document, you can click the thumbnail and the imag
size changes from thumbnail to full size.

You can assign Instant Viewer to any mouse button. On some Microsof
mouse devices, by default, the Instant Viewer is assigned to the scrol
wheel button
