You might want to create a new shortcut that launches Windows Explorer with My
Computer as the starting point.

Right click an open spot on your Desktop and select New -> Shortcut from the
menu.
Enter the following in the location box.

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,

Hit the Next button.

Name your new shortcut My Computer.
Hit the Finish button.

To avoid confusion, you might want to remove the default My Computer icon from
your Desktop. You can do this through Control Panel -> Display -> Desktop ->
Customize Desktop. Next, remove the My Computer icon from your Start menu
through Control Panel -> Taskbar and Start Menu -> Start Menu -> Customize.
Finally, go back and right click on the My Computer icon you created on your
Desktop and select Pin to Start menu from the menu that pops out.

Good luck
