wrong & missing info-plez help

Sorry if I posted here too. But no one was able to help....
I just got a new CD and wanted to rip the 14 tracks to my desktop pc,
using WMP11. When the CD was inserted, i was surprised to see that it said
unknown album/artist. I restarted the pc and started over again and this
time, it listed all 14 tracks but the songs were 50% wrong in name. One song
was listed 4 times (one of those misspelled), meaning some song titles were
not even there. But nonetheless, it showed 14 tracks.
I then got on my laptop. It did the same thing. My kid told me she wanted to
try Itunes and it was shown fine there; songs in order with the correct name
once and not 4 times.
BTW, when i tried using WMP11, i couldnt find the part that says to look up
info so that abum art and info. Normally, shouldnt this be done
automatically when a store purchased CD is inserted?
What do i need to do ? thanks in advance

Might be something to do with Digital Rights Management . ( DRM )

it is probably an easier option to use I-tunes since that works than trying
to find a fix for Windows Media Player. I would reccommend you stick with
I-tunes because that works
