Vista SP1 or XP SP3, either way I would wait a while to see what the
feedback is (what problems exist and workarounds if any) before installing.

You don't think the release of XP3 Release Candidate 2 "Refresh"
confirms the thesis of this article? The delaying tactics of MS to allow
more time for undecided people to migrate to Vista rather that sitting
back to enjoy the XP3 benefits is obvious.

I have no idea as to what you're talking about. Either stick with XP or not
but stop acting like there is a conspiracy.

No - but even if it was some great conspiracy - who cares?

If someone is so impatient that they cannot wait a short amount of time for
SP3 to be released, that's *their* problem. I have yet to run across any
*requirement* of any hardware or software I *need* to run for Windows XP
with SP3. Very few things exist that aren't *new* (actually - very few
things period) that won't run on Windows XP and require you to have Windows
Vista instead.

The very people who would be concerned about getting Windows XP SP3 right
now would not be concerned about any of this unless they have nothing better
to do. It *will* be released and then you can run it. That's it.

Sooner or later - you'll change operating systems. Unless you do not change
ANYTHING with your system (hardware or software) and nothing ever breaks
(and you cannot find an identical replacement for it) and you never
want/need a new product or service that requires some software/hardware you
don't already have - then you are free to run whatever OS you want until the
end of time. Or you die. Which ever comes first.

SP3 works fine, that's the fact. No any problem for two month, and whatever I
try to install(updates)it's obsolite,so it says
