I just found a folder on a secondary hard drive (LOCAL DISK F:) which is used
only for backup files. It has a very long name
(ef44c9a3432aa7643863a0eef55acfee) and contains spuninst. I don't know why
or how it got on this drive. I understand this is to uninstall program
updates. I did a search on my C: Drive and found 753 entries but only 1 on my
F: Drive.

Can I delete the one on my F: Drive?

Whenever you have a question like that you should rename the item and if no
problems occur for a couple weeks delete it.
