First disable whatever may be named SMRGDF, then
diagnose and debug it.
1. Boot into Safe Mode, either selecting Safe Mode from
your startup menu or by holding down F8 during reboot.
For more detail see
http://aumha.org/a/tshoot.php
2. Then / Start / Run / MSCONFIG and look for file
calls to SMRGDF. These may be on t he last panel or
in any other startup file presented by MSCONFIG.
Disable whatever file call you find (either by unchecking
it or by "commenting it out" in an INI file, done by
/Edit inserting ; semicolon at the leftmost end of its line.
3. Back up essential data and check for viruses or malware.
