D is not a partition .. C is one drive, D is the other.. and now I have a G
I will be replacing the C drive and when I do I will update again .. thanks,

If you got your copy from a newsgroup. it might have been defective.
Open the ISO and extract the info on installing.
A tech said to kill the firewall and all other pgms including the AV.
I`d pull the internet connection.
I would not worry about the SP3 until your new drive is straight.
Did you mention the D partition?
Are you trying to install to the d? Doesn`t it have to be on the C
partition?
If I think of anything else, I`ll wait until you have a chance to think.
