I used to have tannish-gray horizontal boxes with black outlines and black
letters under my desktop icons, and I liked them. About a week ago, after a
Windows update, these changes to bright neon blue boxes with white letters
and without borders. I searched and searchd under themes, appearance, etc.,
but cannot find how to get my old favorite gray with black letters and
borders back. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

Did the windows update update the graphics driver? If so goto to the device
manager and roll back the graphics driver.
