hello everyone. i need your help. i just had a new operating system
installed...xp pro. my windows now look very ugly. there is a white
background on all the windows i open...almost all the writing is in blue...it
just looks really ugly and generic. i cant seem to figure out how to adjust
the look. all of my websites come up with this look and, it seems that all
the verbage seems to drop off in the middle of a sentence. i know the fix is
easy but i'm a little frustrated right now to figure it out. please help if
you can.

What happens when you install the most recent WinXP-specific video
drivers, as provided by your video adapter's manufacturer's web site?

if

1. Windows requires special "driver" software for the
"video adapter device" = monitor display. Identify yours,
go to the manufacturer's web site and download an up
to date driver for WinXP. Park this where convenient, then
instal them via
/ Controll Panel / System / Device Manager / Display Adapter
/ Driver / Update Driver
You can use the Browse button to go to the desktop to
locate the driver file.

2. When you have installed the right driver go to
/ Controll Panel / Displlay
and explore the various panels and try various settings.
You should start with / Settings / Colors and set it to
True Color (32 bit.)
You can adjust font sizes via / Settings / Appearance / Item.
