Hi can you reinstall xp pro and save all your infomation l ike 98 it would
just reinstall it and all your drivers information programs would be still on
the reinstalled copy.

Do nothing until you've backed up any files you don't want to lose. While a
repair installation of XP should preserve your data and installed programs,
there's no guarantee. That said, take a look at these two articles for more

No. There is something called a "repair installation," but it's not
the same thing as reinstalling. It may solve some problems, but leaves
others unchanged.
