Hi,

I am running Windows XP with the latest version of Outlook Express but I
have a big problem :

I would like to have a JPEG image IN MY MESSAGE, NOT AS AN ATTACHMENT, so
what I did was COPY and PASTE a JPEG or TIFF image into my test
successfully, but to my horror when the person gets it at the other end the
image is gone but appears as an attachment instead, but I don't want this.

Could anyone please help me get around this problem. I don't want to use
anything except Outlook Express.

Thanks,
Peter

PROBLEM SOLVED. I was very lucky - by using GOOGLE I came across the =

There a fellow had the same problem and a guy called Knight said that =
the problem was that messages were being READ in plain text, so have to =
"uncheck" the box "messages in plain text" under Tools, Options, and the =
Read tab

THANKS for "listening" to me

But the problem, as you described it, was that the *recipient* would
see the image as an attachment. That means they are reading the
message in plain-text mode instead of HTML mode. Plain-text means just
that and images are not plain-text so images would be shown as an
attachment.
