Can you help me please.

I have;
many directories with 1 or 2 gif files in each

I want to;
copy gif files from many directories to one directory.

I downloaded xxcopy. but it was too complex for me to find the correct
command.

Many years ago I could write .bat files. but have forgotten most of
that.

I have spent most of the morning moving them 1 or 2 at a time, and I
think there has to be an easier way!

Use the Search facility and search for *.gif files.
Select what you want from the search results and Copy the selected
items to the required folder.
It only takes me a minute or two to copy hundreds of files like this
from multiple directories.

Thank you!
I am thrilled - it worked - job is done.

It was very slow, that is why I thought it was not working earlier.
