Windows Start Up - Activation Issue

When I start up and come to the logon screen after I click on my user name a
button comes up sayings Windows must be activated before i can logon. I
click yes I want to activate (although I already have).

After a minute a button comes up and says "Windows is already activated
click ok to exit". I click ok and it takes me back to the logon screen. I
click user name and this whole cycle starts over again.

This is weird because I have been using this computer for a couple months
with no problems.

PLEASE HELP!

I had the similar problem, activating the windows, after reinstalling,
it didn't wanted to accept the same activation code after fresh
reinstallation. But i managed to get to know what was the problem, it
was because i changed the harddisks and previous XP version didn't
wanted to work on thi machine because the ativation key has left on
older computer. I was lucky because i had several activations...

I suggest using yellybean for key/activation informations, try to find
some microsoft support, you also have freetelephone helps etc.

And ofcourse reinstallation as one of last options...it would need to
work if the computer is the same, according to answers on this group.
