When I go to Control Panel>User Accounts there is a message:
"Client services for Netware had disabled the Welcome Screen and Fast
Switching...."

I cannot find any place to remove that services from my computer.
Any idea?

There will either be an entry in Add/Remove programs or you can
unbind the service from your Network adapter's properties. Left
Click "Client for Novell Netware" and click the Uninstall button.

Go back to Control Panel and double click Network Connections. In the Network
Connections folder, right click on your Local Area Connection. Select Properties
from the menu. On the General page, click Client Services for Netware to
highlight it. Hit the Uninstall button. Click OK. You may have to restart your
computer for the changes to take effect. You should now be able to set up Fast
User Switching.

Take a look at these articles for more info.

Novell provides this information.

- Click Start>>Open control Panel>>Double click Network Connection.
Right click on your LAN connection and select Properties.
click on "Client Services for Netware" to highlight it and then click on
uninstall and then Reboot your machine, does it help?

- Fix Windows® XP Logon/Restore Welcome Screen
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/fix_xp_logon.htm

- Open a run command and type in:
Regedit click [Ok] and locate this key:
[-]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
= locate this Dll and delete it "GinaDll"

Close the registry editor and reboot your system, any progress?

If you don't need the Novell Client to connect to a LAN:

Start > Network Connections > Right-click on the desired connection >
Properties > General > High-light the Client Services for Novell >
Uninstall.
