I use Windows XP Service Pack 2 and IE7.
I have been trying to download Flash Player, I click on download and am
asked to add the ActiveX Control which I do. Then the box appears inviting me
to Install, which I click on, the box goes, then nothing.
I have checked the ActiveX Controls list for my computer and the one for
Flash Player isn't there.
This is just an example of one of the things I have tried to download,
nothing works.

Help, please?

Regards

Alan

Try configuring IE to allow scripting. Disable popup blockers. If that
doesn't work, see if putting their site in the Trusted Sites security
zone works for you.
