The When I turn on my PC the following dialog box comes up "RUNDLL Error
Loading C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\MWSBAR.DLL The specified module could
not be found."
This appears to coincide with upgading AVG to version 8 and removing a
Norton virus guard that appeared on my desktop for unknown reasons (used
ADD/REMOVE programs)
I have tried SYSTEM RESTORE to before dialogue box appeared but with no
luck. Restore now removed.
Can anyone advise of what module is, is it requied and if so how do I get it
back. Or if not requires how to get rid of dialog box every time I turn PC on.
Running Windows XP
Cheers
Pete

You don't want to restore that file. It's part of the malware that you removed.
To get rid of the error message you can use this program from Microsoft.

AutoRuns for Windows v9.21
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Once you've downloaded and extracted the files, run autoruns.exe.
Look on the Everything tab for an entry that lists MWSBAR.DLL in the Image path
column.
Uncheck the item.
Restart your computer. If you no longer see the error message, you can go back
and delete the entry in Autoruns.

If that doesn't fix the problem, take a look at some of the sites listed in this
Google search.

Good luck
