I am using XP Pro SP2.
I have long been successfully using CuteFTP as my FTP program.
I installed Filezilla as well, as I wanted to get familiar with it to be
able to recommend it to a friend.
I cannot get FileZilla to connect to any of my websites.
Could the fact that it is co-resident with CuteFTP be the problem?
If so, will I be able to use Dreamweaver to update my sites with CuteFTP
installed if I ever wsh to?
TIA

I've been using FileZilla, version 2.2.32 for several months on four
websites and it has been very reliable for me. I did try version 3 a few
months ago and it was under development; some of the display features
weren't built in yet. If you want to know the settings I use, 'be glad to
share them with you.

If you would like a copy of 2.2.32 I can sent it to you.

I'm at dschmidt AT pacifier DOT com

I have been using FileZilla 3 since it became available as a stable version.
It runs fine on several websites.

Did they add the "Local list" and "Remote list" views to the menu?

I'm running a dutch language version but I assume the screen lay-out is the
samen for all languages. Yes, local and remote list are available. In fact,
this is what I use.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to consider upgrading from version 2.2.32
