I'm so sorry that you haven't recovered from your accident, Chris.
Apparently the horror of going off a cliff has caused you to think you are
an MS-MVP when you aren't. Nor should anyone download files from a website
which hosts pr0n.

Just download a good SpyWare (spybot) tool and perform a full scan, usually
your problem (discarting you have a good ie configuratino) indicates that
you have some kind of trojan or spyware.

Best.

Hi!

The antivirus and anti-spyware/trojan software almost all are good tools,
but if a user answers YES to any question regarding intalling a spyware
(normally you don't realize it, casuse are camuflated on web sites), it
doesn't matter what protection you have installed, the spyware will be
installed. Always think that your main problems are sitting between the
keyboard and the chair, not on the computer software :-).

Don't trust the antivirus software, scan your computer.

Best.

Run it in safe mode with no other programs open. The files not found is
normal if the files aren't there. The in use should not happen in safe mode.
Also try the Winsock Repair network tool. Download it here

OK I would like to try to help, but I need more information. You say you can
no longer can connect using internet explorer. What specifically happens when
you try to connect? If you get a error message such as error 404, cannot find
server, etc then what message are you getting? Something I assume must have
changed? Have you installed or deleted any programs? Have you changed any
interrnet explorer settings? Have you scanned for viruses, malware and
spyware to make sure your computer is clean. What kind of antivirus software
are you using? Have you tried calling technical support from your ISP? If
you get back to me with this information I will see what I can do.
Best Regards,
Kaja
