    - Send email with active doc attachment to specific person Hello, I have searched this site for my answer and have found this question posted many times but don't find a clear answer (at least not to me). Once they complete the form I would like to add a Submit button at the bottom of the page which will open an email addressed to a specific person, and attach the active document.     - LDAP 1.0 type library Hello, I have a module which includes ADO connections. When I run it, everything is fine, but when I put it on anyone else's machine they get and error that they are missing the LDAP 1.0 type library. As far as I know I am not using any LDAP connections, just ADO. Could someone tell me where I can get the LDAP type library? I'm not sure what file it is and the references in VBA don't really help.     - VB.NET to Word: Error 4608 - Value Out Of Range I'm having a problem with some VB.NET code that is using automation to create and print a Word document. When I try to set the page margins in code, I'm getting an error 4608, "Value out of range" error. When I check the value of the TopMargin property before I try to set it, it's got a value of 9999999.0. And then when I try to set the value to 43.2 points (.6 inches), which is well withing the allowable range, I get the error.     - Format Changing in Referenced Bookmarks Hi there, I have a number of bookmarks in a template which I reference in several different areas of the document (ie, they're initially on the coversheet - at a large font - then I've referenced them in the headers and other areas of the document). When I run the template the format of the "referenced bookmarks" changes to the size of the original bookmark. The confusing part is some of them are fine (ie, they don't change and stay to the format I've set them at) but others do change. Is there something I'm doing incorrectly, a setting I'm missing, or extra code I need to put in? Using VBA in Word 2002 - I insert the bookmark [bookmark] then go to the other areas I need the text and select: Insert, Reference, Cross-reference, Bookmark, Bookmark Text. This works a treat except that the final document does not get focus and the user has to click in the window in order to continue typing.     - Copying modules from Excel to Word I wrote a set of macros that modify a text file and import the result into Excel. Once in Excel, more formatting changes are made, and finally I want to copy three modules into the target's VBE. These modules provide for a custom outline expansion, and the code for these works once in Excel. I am having trouble with the copying. I took my method from Chip Pearson's "Programming to the VBE" website, but I've noticed that Word seems to use the VBE differently than Excel. I either get a message that says "Subscript out of Range" or it fails to copy the modules completely.     - Limiting the Print Button I work in a centre for people with disabilities and we have a problem with students pressing the print button many multiples of times when they go to do a print. I did post a message a while back asking for any VBA that might be able to limit printing, the only suggestion I got was to replace the print button with the print dialog.     - Mail Merging I'm trying to merge data from an Access query. The problem I have is that my query has to display by grouping. I have a table query that shows over 200 company assigned cell phones where an employee is shown to have more than one. My query groups the information in a report that shows the employees FirstName, LastName, and the numbers each has under PhoneNum. I can trim their first names and middle initials and concatenate with the @company.com domain for their email addresses. I want to send out an individualized email to each asking them to confirm service: Dear <<FirstName>>, You have the following phone numbers assigned to you: <<PhoneNum>> this is where they are grouped from two to seven per employee then I want to have each sent to their individual email address. The mail merge wizard doesn't allow for grouping as an option, so it would only give me one line per record, duplicating each name with each phone assigned as a separate record.     - Bookmarks and respective reference fields I have set up a bookmark called "ReferringPhysician" in a document as well as a reference field {ReferringPhysician} to repeat the bookmark text at another location in the document. The fields are updating fine. Since I have a variety of different bookmarks and reference fields, I need to know how to reference a specific reference field so that the particular field and some surrounding punctuation can be deleted from the document if the variable for the ReferringPhysician bookmark is blank or empty of text. When I click it, the UserForm minimizes as it should but the Excel workbook that contains the UserForm does not. I use it inside of Outlook to save messages with a filename that is extracted from a specific line of expected text. I've added watches for every variable in the routine and all the variables are there. Now I want to re-open the same document and allow the user to edit it, so I do Open and then Activate. Then Word's in this odd state with the correct filename in the title bar and the menus appear as if a file is open & active, but the document isn't showing!     - Macro to Save Multiple Word Documents with Different File Names Hi, I have to process some 5,000 documents, and need to change their filename at the same time. All of the documents have a name in the header in the format: Firstname Middlename (where it applies) Surname I need to save the documents as: Surname, Firstname Middlename.doc I know how to change the directory they're saved to, and I've managed to set up the macro to run on all files in a given folder. This is the only thing that's stopping me from being able to run the macro. I don't know what terms to actually search for to be able to find help on this, so I'm trying here. I've tried to create a Function that will let me create the filename, and then use that as the Save As option, but I can't get it to work, as I can't reference the Function in the SaveAs Filename:=" " It will only save as what I put in the " "... having to move my hand from the keyboard. is there a way that i can set
custom shortcuts? i know that in word perfect the shortcut is ctrl+w. if
someone can let me know about how to create custom shortcuts or the existing
one for symbol, that would be great!!

In the Tools > Customize > Keyboard dialog, select Insert in the
category list and select InsertSymbol in the commands list.

You can also create shortcut keys for individual symbols instead of
one for the entire dialog. See
