    - Start of Word does not fire AutoExec-macro My Word 2003 VBA-application (in XP-environment) is dependent on an autoexec-macro, supposed to be fired when Word starts. My code is contained in Words startup directory and it works as expected on all computers but one.     - Macro in document availablke only to one user I have written a macro in a document on a shared network drive. When I open any document, I can see and run the macro as the macros are in the Normal.dot. The other two people do NOT see and cannot run the macro. The actual VBA is in the Normal.Dot. The macro (atcually series of macros) rebuilds the "master" document out of a collection of individual documents. Basically it insert a series of files into the "master" document and then creates a hyperlinked TOC. Does everything we want it to do in terms of rebuidling the document. Even wehn I take this Normal.Dot and drop it into their "My Documents" where their original Normal.Dot was kept, they still can't see these macros. I had them both set their Macro Security to low. So that is not an issue. I have exported the two modules to .BAS files. Do I need to import them to their copy of Normal.Dot even though I copied my Normal.Dot into their "My Documents"?     - Trying to import Excel Spreadsheet into Word I have used Excel to develop a form to be printed on legal sized paper. There are 11 columbs and 104 rows. The columbs are various widths and all together are 8 1/4 inches wide. The rows are symetrical at 9.00 pixels and fit in 14". When I cut and paste to Word, the cells do not hold their formatting. And merged cell do not behave as the do in Excel. Does anyone know the proper sequence for getting this .XLS spreadsheet into .DOC format with all cells still funtioning properly?     - Start-up templates I am using Word 03 (SP1) on Windows XP (SP2). I have a customised template that is in placed in the startup folder. Sometimes, I have noticed that Word does not display the toolbars and Menu. When I check under Tools/Templates and Addins this template has been disabled.     - Disappearing text when doing a paste Hello all, Having a problem coping data from one document to another. I need to automate the following task. I have a document that my customer opens and clicks a button that does a copy. When the button is clicked, I need the following to happen. The file open dialog box displays so they can pick the file that has data to be copied from The selected file is opened Data from an enclosed bookmark in the newly opened file is copied The data is then pasted to a bookmark location in the intial document I have this working, the problem is when I do the past into the initial document, it deletes all the text in the document and then paste the new text. What am I doing wrong??     - Cursor Question Hi, I have a process that updates a "hidden" document with main document data. During execution the cursor "blinks" (arrow, hourglass, arrow,hourglass...). I have a "timer" macro that executes a DoEvents in a loop and I do not have an Application.ScreenUpdate statement in the code. I need the time to update and display form data and document progress.     - Addin Field Hi, I am trying to use the ADDIN Field typ eto create a bibliography using a VSTO C# application. I can create the field and put information into the Field's Code (The part that is shaded when field codes are turned on) and can add information into the Data property. I am having trouble creating the fields Result. If I try to add text to the result property then the text is just inserted after the field. If I then check the value of Result I find that it is null.     - Hyperlinks from footnotes to "Headings" do not work in Word 2003 . I cannot hyperlink to "Headings" from footnotes, endnotes, text boxes, ect. (I can hyperlink only to Bookmarks). I've called Microsoft Support with no help as to when Word will incorporate this back into Word (it works in Word 2000 & Word 2002). They told me to use Cross References which will not allow you to change the tile of the hyperlink or style of the hyperlink (go figure?).     - Setting the on-screen width of templates I have developed a Word XP (2002) template with some macros for generating photo albums which does everything I want but for one simple thing. When it loads, it scales the document down so that the whole page fits on the screen. I want it so that it is a fit to page width.     - VBA table sort using Date fails I am sorting a table using the following parms: excludeHeader:=True, FieldNumber:=1, SortFieldType:=wdSortFieldDate, sortOrder:=wdSortOrderAscending In Word 2003 (but NOT in 2000) if there are blank lines following the header line, the sort does nothing. If I delete the lines and redo the sort it is fine. If I then Undo the changes and redo the sort, it works fine. If I then close the file without saving changes, and then reopen it, the sort continues to work fine. The only way to get the problem back is to close Word entirely and start again. I have a doc to demonstrate this problem if anyone is interested in investigating further. NB Word 2000 does NOT have this problem. Will someone please tell me how to reset the default opening of my Word
Documents to FINAL (for opening saved documents). I used the Mark Up View
once and seem to be stuck with it forever! HELP!
