I agree: the autocomplete function is infuriating when you are writing in
Swedish.
The bad news is that Microsoft doesn't agree; they apparently think the
function is so wonderful that they didn't bother to include an option to turn
it off. See:

The good news is, if you're a little computer savvy, you can turn it off
anyway. See the instructions on this web page. I just tried it, even though
I had never operated with macros before, and it worked. What a relief!
