I'm looking for an html code that will not allow visitors to your site, right
click on a picture to copy it. I have found a couple on different websites,
one of them completely wipes out the site, (luckily I had a backup) and the
other says that the code written for no right click doesn't really work. That
if you disable javascript or go back into the site with a different browser,
say firefox, then you would still be able to copy the pictures. Does anyone
know where I can get a code that can't be worked around to copy? Any info
would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi NoUturns

As far as I am aware there is no 100% bullet-proof way to prevent people
copying pictures from your website.

Some believe that the most useful strategy is to tell the image search
engines not to index your images, so people don't find them in the firsrt
place. For some starter information, see

Hope this helps.

Dream on! *Anything* you allow someone to see can be copied. If all else
fails, web pictures can be copied with screen capture utilities such as
SnagIt.

1) This is not the best newsgroup to get helpful replies to your
question.

2) There is no way to prevent downloading anything that's visible
on a website. Think about it.
