Hi there,
we would like to have the name of the paragraphs header of the actual
page as the page header.

e.g:
page 1: paragraph header: Introduction
pager header left hand side: Introduction

page 2: paragraph header: Characteristics
pager header left hand side: Characteristics

In case there are two paragraph headers on one page we would like to
have the first one as the page header.
In case there is no paragraph header on the page we would like to have
the header of the previous page as the page header.

Can this be done?

You need to insert a STYLEREF field into the header to achieve this.
