How do I insert a blank-space search capability in my word documen

I don't want people to have access to the exhaustive list of research
material I've done, so I want to insert a blank-space ________ search feature
in my Word document, but don't know how. So, it would look like this: Search
the value you are thinking of here __________ to see which value it is
defined under.

I am sorry, but I do not understand what you are trying to do.

I have written out 948 values from the dictionary and condensed them until I
have 106 values, with the other 832 describing them. I want to post them on
the Internet, but I don't want people to have access to all the information
I've worked so hard on; I don't want them to be able to "clip and paste" all
my hard work to their benefit. So, I want to have posted the 106 values and
make a search feature with a blank _________ so they can put a word in they
think is a value and hit "search" and that will take them to the value I have
that one under.

For instance, under the value CHANGE I also have "transform" "transition"
and "transmutation" - so if someone entered "transform" in the ______ it
would take them to "Change". But I don't want anyone to be able to see that
I have all those words (transform, transition, transmutation) under my main
value listed (Change).

Is there a way to do that?

I am not sure you are in the right place...
This is a group about programming Microsoft Word documents, not for building
Web Pages...

Also, unless I have misunderstood what you have done, it seems to me that
you worked hard to create a dictionary of synonyms, which are easily
obtainable on the Internet for free, not to mention inside Word itself...

My list is of values - not synonyms.

And I am not building a web page. I am working in Word Program, trying to
hyperlink from one document (document #1) to another, where I have a sentence
with a search function to the original (#2) document - the sentence being
"Check here to see if your word has already been used, and under which value
it is listed ______________".

Can hardly explain things more fully. I believe it is a web programming
"function I am trying to create, as there is no function key that exists
right now within the Word program that does anything like that.

Sorry about that, but you did write:

Yes, this can be done, but see below...

I am sorry, but you are going to have to explain what it is you are doing
again because as is, I do not understand.

which leaves me scratching my head... I am not sure at all what you mean by
this.

Check were? Which word? Where would it possibly have been used?
Finally,

which web function are you referring to?

How is the user suppose to use this function you want to create? A toolbar
button? A MACROBUTTON field? An ActiveX control? Somehow, automatically when
typing?

But it is entirely possible that I am particularly thick-headed about this
and that it is clear to everybody else, in which case I hope some one jumps
in to help you sooner than later.
