Please, if you want people to help you, you have to make an effort in
composing a message that will allow the people who volunteer their time to
be able to do so.

What are writing about?
What kind of check box?
In a document, a userform, ActiveX, formfield ???
What Word version?
What steps have you taken and what result are you expecting?
Etc.

There are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in
documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do
not. Take a look at the Checkbox template available at
http://www.addbalance.com/word/download.htm#CheckboxAddIn for an exploration
of these.

Or are you talking about custom dialog boxes created using vba?
