That bit works fine, and I have created a document template with a bookmark to receive the data. The problem I have is that the items are not appearing as a bulleted list as I expect.     - Out of memory I have created a template which runs a macro containing a form and some code in a module. But if Word has (or have had) several instances of a document created from the template open the user gets a â??out of memoryâ?? error when the macro runs. If all instances of word are closed the macro runs again and functions probably. I figure itâ??s because the form and the module isnâ??t unloaded probably. I have tried to insert an â??Unload Meâ?? statement in the form instead of hide. But itâ??s the same. How can I avoid getting â??Out of memoryâ?? errors?     - Insert Graphics and other objects in a Word Document I've been reading the help and I'm still confused. I'm trying to get a grip on the Word Document Hierarchy, but to no avail. Section, Range, HeaderFooter ??????? The specific issue is, I want to insert a graphic at a specific point in an existing Word document. In my case, the graphic will go in the header of the first page, where from there it should of course show up on the remaining page's header area. I'm using a VBA in an Access module, opening the document.... from there I would like to insert the graphic (from a file) then position and resize, etc. ...save the document and move on to the next. I would like to start with a document where there is a pre-existing graphic that says "Insert Graphic Here". This "blank" graphic will be in the exact same place where the new graphic will be inserted. So...I would like to open the doc, find the "blank" graphic, delete it, insert the new graphic, position and resize (if necessary), save, and move on to the next doc. The "blank" graphic is not really necessary because the following code works (though I'm sure, it cant be proper method), without a "blank". However, there are some docs where there is a graphic in the header already (btw there are sometimes 2-3 total, even distributed, ie non-overlapping), so I would need a method to "find" the existing graphic and delete it. Here's the code I'm using now 'The app and doc are open already, at this point... For any reason (a new project, client, etc), create a new set of documents from the originals where the appropriate graphic is inserted in the same place where the "blank" graphic was, thus creating a set of docs specific to a client or project or whatever. The point is, I feel that my current method is a lucky guess, or a "hack" and I can't seem to glean any proper methods from the confusing, help. Any ideas or references would be appreciated.     - PAGEREF field help! Please We are in the process of creating a directory book at work with about 5000 resources in it. Now the problem is: When it originally was merged after hand tweaking (removing some items, spaces, etc.) it seems it was merged with errors such as page numbers don't match in the <pageref></pageref> field. My desparate question is - Is there an easy way to resort the document so that the PAGEREF fields are corrected? ie - right now let's say the product Window Pane is on page 45 but the merged document Table of Contents says it's on page 256 (this is what is in the tags <pageref></pageref>.     - enable option buttons at runtime i have a userform with two listboxes, and six optionbuttions. the options buttons are split into 3 pairs of two. at the outset only the first pair of option buttons is enabled. the following code tests to see if more than one selection is made in a listbox, and if it is, then enables a relevant pair of option buttons.     - Re-post Chad, This message refers to a previous post dealing with auto popoulating multiple pages of forms with repetitive info. I am trying to create a single document that has four separate forms. The of the two of the forms use the same information. I form is built on pleading paper. 1. How do I add these forms into one document? 2. I would like to auto populate the two similar for forms. My attempts at this have failed thus far. I also discovered while trying to copy the form built on pleading paper, the vertical lines running the full length of the paper do not transfer. I also discovered that trying to add a new page after this form resulted in the new page being formatted as pleading paper. Any help would be verrrrrrrrrrrry appreciated!!!!!!!!     - Form Fields & UserForms Interactions HeLp! Great Forums for everthing Office but sometimes there is a lot of reading required when you want to do something that seems simple and to no avail! Here is the issue: Our firm uses templates to create Functional Analsys Documents. The first two pages of the FA Doc have on them two types of form fields. (Hopefully I got all the terminology correct as I am a newbie to this type of programming.) Ones that can be edited by the user and ones that can get updated by refrence when pressing the <F9> function key from within the field. I wanted to simplify this by creating an optional user form that can be called up through a Custom Menu. I have manage to do so but I'm running in to updating the text fields in the user form correctly. The first time I use the user form the defaulted values from the form fields get displayed in the user form correctly.     - Large Document Creation We have created a program in VB & VBA that assists users in creating midsize documents daily. There will be one file for each day anywhere from 3-25 pages in length. We need to combine these documents once a year into one large file to be published into a book. The document is straight text. No images. In the end it will be approximately 1500-2000 pages in length including table of contents and index. We hope to index and do TOC using Word's automated features. Before we attempt this I would like to know any limitations of Word. Can Word handle a document of this size? What do we need to do to prevent file corruption?     - Filling in School Dates in Word? Hi all-- I think I've reached the point where I need to program in Word. I teach a class, and my syllabus lists each class number, the day and date, and the assignment. I get tired of manually replacing the dates each semester and would like to do it automatically. This is what I'd like: Class #1 <Day>, <Date> Assignment So if I teach every Tuesday in fall of 2006, I'd like to give it the start and end dates (8/22/06 first day of class, 12/12/06 last day of class) and have it fill in the proper dates for each class throughout the semester. If I were to teach every Monday and Wednesday, I'd like it to fill in everything from 8/21 to 12/13 that semester. To add to the confusion, it would be nice, but maybe not possible, to have it skip spring break holidays or other days off. I posted this to the Outlook forum, but the MVP there suggested I try here as it is the Word VBA code that seems to be causing this. Since outlook is set up to use word as my email editor I want to be able to take advantage of macros stored in my Normal.dot template to perform some simple text searches & replacements. After running a macro in an email message window (new messages or replies) , the send button along with every other button/tool on that row of Outlook toolbars (i.e. the Accounts drop-box, the attachment icon, address book button, options, etc.) becomes disabled. I kind of need the SEND button! I click, but nothing happens. The buttons are all dead. They no longer change color when hovered over, or animate, etc. I've tested it on 3 machines at work as well as my computer at home and can replicate it 100% of the time. I have isolated the problem to one Selection.Find statement, but haven't done any exhaustive testing to be sure something else can't trigger it as well.     - Template causes Word to Crash--Recompiling fixes problem We have a fairly sophisticated MS Word template. The last version that we sent to our users gave us a real surprise. Many of our users had Word crash when they opened a document that was based off the Template. Word would give the error that reads something like "couldn't read memory at location xxxxxx to yyyyyyy". It would also crash with the same error when they created new documents based off the template. To fix it, we went to their PC, opened the template, compiled the template, then saved the template. I want to allow the user to select which excel file they want to use by ideally using the common dialog control to allow them to navigate to the file they want.     - How to copy all textbox content of doc1 to doc2 - and back? In a document, various text boxes with formatted text, even with tables in them, exist. I would like to cut all textbox content in all text boxes and copy it to a second document for editing, and once edited, move the content back to the original textboxes. I have this macro (see below), but it copies (it should cut) and it deletes all formatting and tables. Is there a better way to cut? How do I get the content back to the original textboxes?     - Populating a document form a userform I have a userform which populates an address formfield on a letter, the trouble with it is when the second and subsequent lines are entered then a square precedes the text. Is there anyway that these squares can be removed? To have the userform populates just a bookmark would normally resolve the situation but I have a textbox which needs to be populated which is over a picture and all the text is populated into that unless I use formfields! This works as expected and I do not see the "Word is repaginating ..." message on my computer which runs Microsoft Word 2003. However, the problem occurs when I install the template on Word 2000 based machines. Inspite of ensuring that background pagination is turned off and Normal View is being used, I still keep getting the "Word is repaginating..." message on these computers. I have no idea why. What takes 30 seconds on my computer takes around 6-7 minutes on the other computers that use Word 2000. I thought that background repagination in normal view should work the same in all versions of Word. Can somebody please shed some light on this? I did break the code and ensure that the options.pagination was false and activewindow.view.type was 1 (Normal) on the 2000 machines before the main loop got executed.     - VBS sript to remove menu items Hello, all: We have recently installed ADOBE ACROBAT 7.0. Hard-coded into one of their DLLs is an instruction to add the 'Adobe PDF' and 'Acrobat Comments' menus to the WORD Menu Bar.     - Macros disappearing Can someone direct me to an easy to read article on transporting macros with your document. I have written on several occasions about this project and keep getting more frustrated. Latest.... I have a large forms template with many macros in it. When the template is accessed as the basis for a new word document some of the macros disappear. I made sure all of the macros were in the template by going to the organizer and copying them over. Security is set to low and when the form was first created...it worked great. It has however been through several iterations and passed from person to person through email....which I stopped them from doing because I think server rules were stripping the macros. I need to get this project finished and assure the endusers that they will have the macros needed to make the form work. I would appareciate any advice you can give. reapply to fonts, table/cell backgrounds, and table borders? For the fonts,
if using a style, is there anyway to apply a color to whatever fontstyle or
fontsize chosen?

Can this be created usnig VBA if it's not standard functionality?
