    - How do I Return Range Or Chartname of Linked Object Is there a vba equivalent of the function Edit|Links|Change Source|Item (Set Item dialogue)? I would like to be able to read (and write) the range or chart name of excel tables and charts I have linked to in my word document. I have a 300 page word document that I am supposed to use as the basis for building a help project. The document has many images in it, many that allow word wrapping. When creating a document from a specific template I receive the following error message but only on one specific computer: Runtime error '-2147417848 (80010108)' (automation error the object envoked has disconnected from its client). Hello, I have a word document (for example, Iâ??ll call it â??Article.docâ??) which is rather large, containing certain news articles. I wish to do a search/find and identify specific key words in â??Article.docâ??. However, the list of possible words in â??Article.docâ?? that I wish to find (if they are there), number about 500. I have this list of words that I want to be found stored in a separate document that is always being updated/changed. (For example, Iâ??ll call this document â??List.docâ??) I do not want to have to go and use the Find Feature built-in to MS Word and copy/paste all 500 words individually and search â??Article.docâ?? to see if they are present.     - Table Creation I'm in the process of creating a word document/form with several fields. I have one area of the word document were I would like to have a checkbox or two, controlling what a person can see on the document. This text is inside protected sections and has a different colour thant the user-text.     - WORD VARIABLES NOT CLEARING I have a huge vba project in word. I previously had a variable called "ELet_Heading" in my .dot document. I renamed this to "ELet_RE" and added a few more variables.     - Hyperlinks Collection Incomplete Hi, My cover page is an ordinary Word 2000 doc which has many hyperlinks (often 50 or more). Then, there is a Word macro which is coded to follow all hyperlinks and print each document. I have noticed two problems: Problem #1: The Hyperlinks collection will sometimes return the hyperlinks in the wrong sequence (not in the order they appear on the page). Problem #2: The Hyperlinks collection will miss many hyperlinks in the current document. Both problems happen more often when the hyperlinks "wrap" from one line to the next. (Yes, that's a long link, but they are indented too by several levels). In that case, the second line of the hyperlink is blue and underlined, but the first line is not. Tried these fixes: 1) Install SR-1, SR-2, and SR-3. These work for a while (about a week), then problem #1 comes back 2) Put a sequence number into the text of the hyperlink, then wrote code to print based on the value of the sequence number. Unfortunately, I discovered Problem #2. My macro prints a few documents, then it stops. All it does in my loop is to put the Address into an array. (It doesn't delete any hyperlinks ever). Sometimes, in Problem #2, the Hyperlinks collection is totally empty. Then, the macro obviously prints nothing. Yet, the hyperlinks are clearly visible on the cover page. What can I do? I've tried to understand how to do this with better VBA but can't find a good explanation of creating and manipulating fields with VBA. (O'Reilly's "Word Macros" gives a glimpse but not enough to go on.) I'll put my code here. What I'm hoping is that someone can show how good VBA would do this. (I learned about this field from John McGhie's page at http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/InsEvnPgEndChap.htm.) If you try my macro as written, your document or template needs paragraph styles called "Body Text" and "BlankPage" (mine is centered, italic, 250pt before). When the variable is set, I want to use the contents in another document, using the same name, within the new documents macro. I'm not advanced, but have the "assignment" to make text that will appear
just like the green text that shows up in MS Office Help when you click on a
single word (that gets defined when the green text appears). If you reclick
the single word, the green text that appeared goes away. Thanks.
