hello everyone

I have a text file with tags such as this.

<P></P>
<P><SPA 5>denc awacswvW Kwbwrutwkuge twfcBIlc</P>
<P><SZ 13></B><I X /I></U></P>

how can I tell word to convert them to the real thing.
BTW what kind of tags are these? r they universal.

any kind of help in the right direction will be appreciated.

I have no idea what the real thing is, but you will find some information on
replacing tags in the article "Finding and replacing characters using

if so, then:
could be this format and could be that format.
I don't know. However:
<P> = start of paragraph.
</P> = end of paragraph
<U> = start of underline.
</U> = end of underline.
<I> = start of italic.
</I> = end of italic.
<SPA 5> could be 5 spaces.
<SZ 13) ?

<I X /I> doesn't make sense to me.
Only <I> X </I> would do.
