I need to write contracts in two languages. I made to columns, one for each
language without any problems. But I also need to have separate TOC and
headings and numbering for each language. Do you have any suggestion to solve
this case?

1. Define a separate set of styles for each language. Use numbering as
needed. If you're using outline numbering, Use a separate outline for each
language, using the corresponding language styles you've created.

2. Read Help on the TOC field, and explore the Advanced options: you can
specify that a TOC is created from a custom list of styles -- in your case,
the heading styles for one language.
