I just installed Visual Studio 2005 and VSTO. When I try to create a
Word Document project it complains that I don't have Office 2003
installed. I do have Office 2007 installed.

What's up with that?

Hi Edamron,

A better place to get assistance with VSTO is the forum or the
newsgroup. There's more traffic on the forum, so if you can stand using
a web interface :-), I recommend that

VSTO 2005 supports only Office 2003.

VSTO 2005 SE, released with Office 2007, provides Visual Studio
templates for Office ADD-INS, for both Office 2003 and 2007.

VSTO 2008 supports all the above, plus adds document-level
customization templates (Excel and Word documents) for Office 2007.
