Hi,

I'm having a problem with a template that contains coding that I created.
When I use VBE, I'm getting a dialog box that says Project locked, and
unviewable. I can't access the coding.

Is there a workaround to this?

If the template was saved in the Word Startup folder, you will need to
uncheck the box against it in Tools>Templates and Addins and then use File
Open to open the template.

If you had assigned a password to the code in the template, you will have to
supply the password when asked for it. But, if you are not being asked for
it, it is probably the case mentioned above.

Hope this helps.

It may be bad practice, but I regularly edit Add-Ins without unloading them
first. I am able to open the project, edit, and save. When I close the open
Add-In, the new code is in the loaded Add-In.

Yes I do that too - and it's never given me problems so I assume it's OK.
