I use Microsoft Word 2002, Windows 98. My Home key no
longer puts cursor at beginning of line. The End key still
works. I know it is not the key itself because it is
working correctly in WordPerfect, just not in Word. I do
medical transcription and use the Home key constantly. Any
suggestions? I have already checked Commands under
Keyboard (Tools) and it is listed as a command, so it has
not been deleted or changed.

Caront,

What does this issue general have to do with VBA? Just asking.

Your problem is likely Tools>Options>General and uncheck the two Word
Perfect User options.

Caront,

Disregard my poorly phrased question in the earlier post. I realize that
many of the Word NGs are currently unavailabe.

Poorly phrased question disregarded. None of the other
Word NGs (such as General)was available and I was
desperate to get rid of this annoying problem. Thanks.

Hi Caront,

Make sure that the tab key is not stuck.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the

Hope this helps
