Hello,

I need to generate a list of all the text in a document that use a
particular character style.

I tried using the StyleRef field, but it only allows me to copy the first or
last piece of text and I need to copy all of the examples.

If anyone knows of a way to do this, I'd appreciate some assistance.

Thanking you in advance.

You could write a macro, but here's a quick and simple
approach that would probably to the trick for you without
writing any code.

- Choose Insert > Reference > Index and Tables from the
toolbar menu.
- Select the "Table of Contents" tab.
- Disable the "Show page numbers" checkbox
- Click on the "Options" button
- Make sure the "Styles" checkbox is ticked, then place a
1 into the box for the style you want. Remove any other
TOC level entries.
- OK to generate the list.

Hope that helps,
Dennis
