Greetings !

I have a copy of LIST.com by Vernon D. Buerg
that I use frequently. It enables one to invesigate
the contents of any file, very simply.

I have a shortcut on my "Desktop", and,
using Windows Explorer, I can simply drag
a file name over the shortcut icon, and
Voila! I can look at the file.

In the Folder is a file
provided with Windows, called FC.

This marvellous program enable one to
compare two files, to see how they differ.

The current way I use it is to open a DOS
window, change the Directory to that in
which one file lies, and then type in "FC "
followed by the path and the name of the second file.

WOT a PalAver !

What I want is a simple desktop icon, onto which
I can drop the first file. A "basket" shoud then open
with a caption that says, "Drop the second file in here"
and then a message window should open, showing
the log file in NoteBook

Does anyone know of something that does this?

Pretty please ?

I think this is the wrong forum for this question, but i do know how you can
fix this.

Create a folder, FC

in FC have 2 folders, Input/Output

In input have 2 folder, Source/Edit

In output have 2 folders, Source/Edit

Create a .bat file in your FC folder to run the program using the
input/source and the input/edit, then when it's finished with that, move the
files to the output/source and output/edit accordingly.

That should work really easy.
