Hi,

I have a large WORD document that I need to parse and extract the
information from.

The information is formatted by sections, headers and tables.

I have only briefly visited the object hierarchy for WORD and so am looking
for insight into just how best to walk this document and extract the
information.

For example, is there a way to move from cell to cell in a table?

Thanks much

Take a look at one of the Word VBA books at my URL below.
I'd suggest Steve Roman's Writing Word Macros,

Thanks for the pointer, but I need to finish this tonight. I am an
experienced VB coder just needing a tip for which objects to use to walk
through a Word document.

Thanks

As an experienced VB programmer, Steve Roman's Writing Word Macros is the
book for you.
I expect that one, or more, of your local bookstores has a copy.
If you get the book, you'll need to pull, at least an all-nighter.
