Can you please supply more information about what you are trying to do? Are
you trying to use Word 2003 and digital ink to handwrite something?

Hi Peter,

Labels are just tables with fixed cell dimensions. There is an Avery 5386
Notecard that is the dimensions that you require, Select that label and
then click on New Document and then select the table and add the type of
borders that you require as the grid lines will not print.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the

Thanks for your help......All I'm trying to do is read things off that piece
of paper. I will just type in several sentences, cut it out, laminate it,
and then put it into my shirt pocket. I will have all kinds of different
ones. The size is from a business card up to and no bigger then 3x5. Thank
you very much............Peter

In that case, insert a text box and give it a dotted line outline (Format
Text Box: Lines and Colors, choose a dotted line style).

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, my favored announcement, perfect Suzanne, just perfect,
worked like a charm. Quick question. Since I typed up a lot of these little
sayings, and I used the return key at the end of the line, how can I get rid
of these return hits, so my cut and paste will be like I line wrapped it, or
what you call it? I tried the cut and paste, and it did not look good the
way I had it. .............Thanks Suzanne..............Peter

See http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/CleanWebText.htm. Another tip:
You might want to make your dotted/dashed outline a pale grey so you can
just see it--enough to provide cutting guidelines but not so obvious if you
miss with the scissors. <g>
