Hello. every second or third dime I open MS word, I have to pot in my office
xp small business cd because I says it is installing "Microsoft feature." It
doesn't say what it is. I tried having everything run from the computer to
having what was installed during first use. I am about to pull my hair out
in frustration. Please help. I have windows xp.

Hmm, sounds like a bad installation, I would suggest going into each Office
XP application (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), use the Detect and
Repair feature from the Help menu, to fill out any missing spots during
first installation. Also apply the latest Service Packs and Patches for
Office XP.

Hello,
This could be a result of your installation of Microsoft Office XP. I
suggested you go to the Control Panel and do an Add Remove Programs and
check to see if under Word the Install on First Use is selected.

Go to Add Remove Programs in the Control Panel
Select Change or Remove Programs
Select Microsoft Office XP
Click Add or Remove Features
Select either all of Office at the top or select just Microsoft Word
Click the down arrow and choose Run All from my Computer

Hello I tried what you said and it didn't work. I still have to slip in my
