hi,

i use a coworker's computer once in a while, and have a problem where her
keyboard stops typing or buttons stop working on the keyboard when im typing
and i remove the batteries and replace them and it usually fixes the problem.
She has a regular mouse, but it has the red light underneath it,... but its
not wirless. She said she never has problems with it when she uses it. I am
wondering if i hit a combination of keys and it locked up the keyboard or
something. however, when i use it at her desk it works and then doesnt, i
take out the batteries and replace them and it works fine.

well today i cant get the computer logged in because the keyboard isnt
working. Replacing batteries with new ones didnt even work.

has anyone any ideas on how to get it working?

Sometimes you need to reestablish the wireless connection between the
device and the receiver. There should be a little pamplet close by
with instructions for doing this or perhaps you may figure it out by
using the keyboard icon in the control panel.

Now a question for you. This is a Microsoft Word group. What does
this issue have to do with Word?
