home key

my home key works funny

i used to be able to hit home, and it would take me the
begining of the line, with control home taking me to the
begining of a document.

now home does nothing, unless i hit the up arrow
afterwards, and then it goes to the begining of the
document.

control home brings up an error, and the computer says it
can't display help, and then shows the find and replace
option.


huh?

i just want it to work normally

Fsmdox,
I think you have a WordPerfect item activated. Check your settings in
"Tools" - options - on the general tab - there should be an option to use
WordPerfect navigation keys, disable it.

Tools | Options | General: Clear the check boxes for *both* items that refer
to WordPerfect.
