    - File size and HTML Hi, I am using Word2007 to edit a rather largish bilingual dictionary. When I strip all superfluous HLML-tags, the size is around 6 MB. The file produced by Word used to be around 1 MB larger, about 7 MB. I use a DOS32 program to strip the file of its superfluous tags for advanced processing. However, lately, the file size has increased enormously. Under Word-2007 (before I used Word-2000) the file size has increased from 6 MB to 15.9 MB approx. For instance, the header now contains a list of all available fonts (several hundred, while I use only two: Times New Roman and Symbol). Also, every two or three words the file contains totally superfluous information of the font, language and font size. How can I bring back the file size to something more normal? All hidden tags (like page number, reference numbers of Endnote etc.) can be seen. For example page numbers do not contain numbers and only a {page } is seen in their place.     - Word 2007 Macro warnings Hi, I had a reverse issue from the known bug wherein Word warns you of non- existant macors. My user was NOT getting the document information bar warning under the ribbon. He was getting the pop instructionon how to change Trust Center settings, but nothing beyond that. I realized based on Beth Meltons' post that perhaps my user did not have the Visual Basic for Applications component installed. Sure enough, he didn't. Once that component was installed the security warning appeared in the information bar. I think this component did not get installed originally because there was a dependant component [ .Net2.0 ?] which also was not installed. SO, even though you select 'run all from my computer' on the top drop down during the office install, various sub-components *may* not install if dependent infrastructure is not already installed. bookmarks. Problem is when I go to print I get a small window asking for a
'member name'. Cancel or enter gets a proper printing. So its been long
enough that I forgot how I made that doc. Anyone got any ideas what that
window is all about? TIA

Hi mmaphq,

Your document probably has either a FILLIN or ASK field. That field is updating because you have the 'update fields' option checked
under Tools|Options|Print. You can find the field in your document by pressing Alt-F9 to reveal the field coding. Be careful about
deleting the field if there are cross-references to it.
